Tyler Burleson ...


1. How did you become a part of MTF? Aaron and Jake had both become good friends and started playing guitars together, and got the idea of starting up a band, so I joined them from that point on.

2. What inspired you to become a musician? Well, I’ve always loved to sing, but I got into playing instruments really when I was in the 7th grade. TJ moved to our church, and brought the guitar along with him. From then on, I started learning how to play every instrument I could.

3. Besides the instrument you play for MTF, what other instruments do
you play?
I play the guitar mainly, but I can play a little bit of bass, drums,
percussion, and the harmonica.

4. Who are some of your musical influences?
I come from a family that loves to sing, so that’s where I get my vocals from. My uncle, Tj, third day, dave crowder, even though the guys may laugh steven curtis chapman, and many other Christian artists.

5. What do you believe is your role in missions?
I believe prayer is my key role in missions, along with promoting missions, and going as well.

6. A random fact about Tyler...
I’ve been in a real rodeo……. and I liked it.

7. In 10 words or less, describe each of your band mates.
TJ: passionate preacher, one of a kind, extremely smart, arranger
Jake: kip, hilarious, great musician, best friend, very passionate about God
Whitney: awesome drummer, king of home-run derby, talented
Aaron: best friend, unbelievable musician, great songwriter, excellent
leader.
